Your mission

As an SEO & Content Manager for Schiller International University, your mission is to align content, SEO initiatives and website priorities with business objectives, recruitment goals and growth opportunities, driving organic visibility, website performance and audience engagement. 
 
You will be responsible for managing Schiller's content and SEO roadmap across websites, landing pages, blogs, institutional communications and recruitment marketing initiatives. You will identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, coordinate implementation across teams and partners, and leverage data and SEO insights to drive growth across our digital channels. 
 
This role sits at the intersection of SEO, content strategy, website management and performance analytics. You will work closely with SEO, Digital Marketing, Web Development, Design, Product, Communications, Marketing Automation and external partners to prioritize initiatives, coordinate content efforts, translate data into actionable recommendations, and improve Schiller's organic visibility and website performance. 

Tasks and Responsabilities

  • Own and manage Schiller's content calendar and SEO roadmap across websites, landing pages, blogs, institutional communications and recruitment marketing initiatives. 
  • Identify,prioritizeand manage SEO and content opportunities based on business objectives, recruitment priorities, organic growth potentialand user needs. 
  • Maintain visibility over content and SEO initiatives, including priorities, progress, dependencies, risks and opportunities, providing regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders.  
  • Develop,optimize and maintain website content to improve organic visibility, user experience and conversion performance.  
  • Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis and content audits using tools such as SEMrush,Ahrefs, Google Search Consoleand Google Analytics.
  • Translate SEO recommendations, performance data and website opportunities into clear priorities, actionable recommendations and content briefs. 
  • Optimizecontent and website pages for SEO, including metadata, headings, content structure, internal linking, search intentalignment and other on-page best practices.
  • Coordinate content and website initiatives with developers, designers, marketers, communications teams and external partners, ensuring alignment across priorities and projects.
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between Marketing, SEO, Communications, Product, Web Development, Design, Marketing Automation and external agencies.
  • Monitor and analyze content and SEO performance, including rankings, traffic, engagement,conversions and lead generation metrics.
  • Follow SEO and content dashboards,identifyopportunities and areas for improvement, and translate performance insights into recommendations and priorities for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of content and SEO initiatives and continuously optimize strategies based on data and business outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve research, content creation, optimization, workflow efficiency and content governance.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice,messaging and content quality across all digital channels.
  • Proofread,editand review content to ensure accuracy,quality and adherence to brand standards.
  • Stay up to date with SEO best practices, AI developments, content marketing trends and emerging digital technologies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Marketing or a related field preferred.
  • Native English speaker is arequired.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO content management, content marketing, SEO, content strategy, digital marketing or similar roles.
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles including keyword research, search intent, metadata, internal linking, content structure and content optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush,Ahrefsor similar SEO platforms.
  • Experience managing websites, content calendars and CMS platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholdersand deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience coordinating with SEO teams, web development teams,designers and external agencies.
  • Understanding ofwebsite content governance and content lifecycle management.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation,optimizationand workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to explain SEO concepts and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in Higher Education is a plus.
